Last autumn, Kiosk Radio, Radio Raheem and Radio 80000 linked up to launch a new platform called 25AV.

The premise was straightforward: connect musicians, performers and visual artists from across Europe via an open call, all while platforming emerging talent from visual art and music scenes across the continent through events, radio shows, talks and artist interviews.

Last weekend (20 October), the first 25AV event went down on Kiosk Radio’s home turf of Brussels. Taking place at iMAL, the Brussels-based centre for digital culture and technology, the night saw live audiovisual performances from the likes of Nicolò Cervello & ABADIR, Noam Youngrak Son & Colette Aliman and Wiet Lengeler & Wilted Woman, with PLANET collective’s Dana Kuehr bookending the night with a pair of DJ sets. Another artist pair, Fredoleboss and Promenade Verticale, were in attendance after winning the 25AV young talent competition earlier this year. The night is the first of three 25AV gatherings taking place this season, with stops in Munich (home to Radio 80000) and Milan (home to Radio Raheem) on 18 November and 16 December respectively. For more information and tickets visit the 25AV site here.

Jente Waerzeggers was there for the ride too, capturing the moment on camera. Check out some of his pictures below.
