The festival’s third edition was a loud celebration of dance music, emerging DJs and Cypriot culture
At a former winery site in Cyprus, over 25,000 people gathered for some final September sun at this year’s edition of BEONIX – the festival’s third event, which saw its first-ever sold-out Saturday.
Established selectors like Fatboy Slim provided memorable moments on the dance and techno-focused programme, which also held space for emerging DJs at the brand new Garden Stage. Curated based on applications, winners were prepared by mentors before their sets – many of which were debut festival appearances – demonstrating BEONIX’s commitment to supporting local culture and pushing new music forward.
Elsewhere on the programme, BEONIX’s Hangar Stage was home to the heavier side of the electronic landscape, while the Main Stage saw a highlight set from Slovenian sensation Brina Knauss, who showcased her technical abilities and set the tone as the final act before Tale Of Us brought the weekend to a close.
