The arts festival returned to the Wales Millennium Centre with a week-long programme of live music from the likes of Mabe Fratti, Meredith Monk and Beverly-Glenn Copeland.

From 6-12 October, as part of Cardiff Music City Festival, Llais returned to Wales Millennium Centre with an eclectic line-up of international and regional talent, featuring performances by Mabe Fratti, Ibibio Sound Machine, Trio Da Kali, and more.

Other highlights included Indo-Welsh band Khamira, Mississippi family band Annie & the Caldwells, multi-disciplinary artist Meredith Monk, who made her Welsh debut joined by longtime collaborators Katie Geissinger and Allison Sniffin, and Canadian composer and cult singer-songwriter Beverly-Glenn Copeland, who was joined by his wife and multi-disciplinary artist Elizabeth Copeland. The festival closed out with a solo show by singer, songwriter, and composer Rufus Wainwright.
