Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.

Alfred Czital, one of the minds behind Prague’s Harmony Records, and Polygonia, the multidisciplinary alias of Munich’s Lindsey Wang, team up for our latest Selections playlist. This one’s a whistle-stop tour through just some of the music they’re bringing along with them to Lunchmeat festival, which is back this month for its 14th edition. Seductive techno and hard-as-nail grooves from producers such as Rill, Decoder, Paul Laurens and Animuss set the tone here, as we’re scooped up (figuratively) and plonked down (again, figuratively) onto the dancefloor via each contributor’s respective choices – Czital’s are what we’re first greeted with, while Polygonia’s seamlessly transition in at the halfway mark.

Speaking on their back-to-back over email, the pair invite us to “join them for a night of sonic seduction at Lunchmeat,” before adding: “Our DJ set is gonna be fast and sexy with a sprinkle of trippy magic that makes it feel like a smooth dance on a neon cloud.” Settle in for a tantalising taste of what’s to come.
