Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.

London-based producer Prayer has carved out quite a legacy within UK dance music over the past ten years under the alias. Having started out – at first anonymously – releasing on Zomby’s Cult Music, a decade of making music as Prayer has seen him put EPs out on labels such as Black Acre, Grade 10 and Sherelle and Naina’s Hooversound imprint.

His sound is rooted in an emotive quality, an essence that is woven throughout his catalogue whether that be in his ethereal and euphoric jungle cuts, soaring, cinematic productions, fusion of classical and electronic arrangements or forward-facing UK club sounds. Prayer’s latest drop, Revival, comes ahead of his forthcoming new EP and showcases the artist’s atmospheric and meditative take on jungle.

For Selections, Prayer reflects on the past ten years of his work with this project. “Closing in on ten years of releasing music under Prayer,” he says, “I decided to use the opportunity to showcase the range of music I’ve released in this time.” Filled with atmospheric jungle and electro-classical crossovers, plug in below.
