Welcome back to Selections, a series of artist-curated playlists from those in the know.

With Tama Sumo and Lakuti, it’s all in the feeling. The Berlin-based dance music duo – who, between them, spend their days tirelessly working across an array of roles that include DJ, producer, label head, Berghain and Panorama Bar resident, promoter and more – have always been this way, ever since they got their respective starts back in the early 90s. Renowned for their solo endeavours, but beloved for the output they share and the sets they play together, they have a knack for taking a crowd’s temperature on the fly, allowing their selections to flow freely in tandem with shifts in mood or intensity. Always moving, always aware.

This weekend, the pair will touch down in London for a show at Farringdon’s fabric, where London-based queer party Love Child is teaming up with Amsterdam’s IsBurning for a Pride party that also features Love Child’s own Josh Caffé, sadidas, Mike Servito and more. Ahead of time, they are treating us to a new playlist “focused on rhythm, drums and percussion”. Elaborating a little more, they add: “We chose tracks from different genres where those elements grabbed our attention. Hope you enjoy!” Tune in below for music from Ron Trent, DJ Qu, Sabu Martinez and more.
