The Spanish festival returned to Santiago de Compostela this September with a programme centred on immersive audiovisual installations, club nights, and cutting-edge electronic music.

Held in collaboration with Son Estrella Galicia, WOS Festival returned to the Galicia region of Spain for its eighth edition, bringing together four days of experimental sonics to theatres, clubs, churches, and iconic venues across the city.

With events spread across UNESCO World Heritage Sites and location-specific installations becoming part of the cityscape, WOS thrives on contrast and global creativity. This year’s line-up was no exception, Abdullah Miniawy brought his acclaimed Peacock Dreams to Spain for the first time, while aya & MFO presented Hexed! Elsewhere, Batu, Objekt, Beatrice Dillon, and Djrum all played sets among striking surrounds.

Masayoshi Fujita presented his new project, Migratory, and Eomac & Rebecca Salvadori showcased A Forbidden Distance. The bill also saw performances from KAVARI, Rainy Miler, Klein, Purelink, Lord Spikeheart, and Niecy Blues.
