The festival’s seventh edition takes place in venues across Santiago de Compostela, in Galicia, from 14-17 September.
A plethora of names have been added to the bill for avant-garde gathering WOS Festival in anticipation of its event, with Actress, Laurel Halo, Iceboy Violet, object blue & Natalia Podgorska and Patricia Wolf among the latest names confirmed. They’ll join artists such as Malibu, Lee Gamble and recent Crack Mix-er CORIN in Galicia next month. Slikback and Weirdcore, Lamin Fofana and Aho Ssan are also set to appear at the forthcoming event, which will play host to 28 concerts, audiovisual shows and parties as part of its full musical programme for 2023.
For 2023, the festival will also be incorporating a new venue – a warehouse space at the historical recovered architectural complex Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, which will host artists on Saturday 16 September. In a statement, festival director Iván Arias said: “It is in the DNA of WOS to value the city’s heritage and to recover unique places for culture. That’s why having this space in 2023 was essential to take another step in that direction. Moreover, it is an example of Galician industrial architecture, which fits with the essence of electronic music, which demands stages of this type, with high ceilings and powerful materials.”
