Sónar Lisboa returned to the heart of Lisbon from 11-13 April, where Parque Eduardo VII set the scene for three days of dance music from both longtime legends and experimental new names.
Originators and innovators filled Sónar Lisboa‘s headline spots this year – Richie Hawtin performed his DEX EFX X0X live show on the Friday, before Underworld took the reigns on Saturday and Jeff Mills closed things out on Sunday. Other highlights include sets from heavy hitters Héctor Oakes, Marcel Dettman, Modeselektor and Josh Caffé, as well as audio-visual shows from the likes of Max Cooper.
Lisbon’s own diverse music scene was on full display too, with three stage takeovers from Dengo Club, Enchufada and a link-up betweek local label Príncipe and former Crack Magazine cover stars TraTraTrax, which featured sets from Bitter Babe, DJ Firmeza b2b Nick León and more.
