The Belfast house heavyweights return to Depot Mayfield alongside a stacked line-up of special guests on 7 December.
Following a much-loved debut at 2023’s Repercussion festival, Bicep will again bring their hybrid live-DJ, CHROMA A/V set to The Warehouse Project on 6 December.
Having taken the show from Mexico City to Glasgow, the duo returns to Manchester to top a packed line-up, with the likes of former Crack Magazine cover star Helena Hauff on the bill, including a live performance from Elkka, and DJ sets from Daphni, SHERELLE, Moxie, Bakey, LCY, Giulia Tess, and local favourites Space Afrika.
Lo-fi house pioneer Ross From Friends will play at the event in December under his bouncier Bubble Love alias, with breakbeat maestro Denham Audio and techno powerhouse Machine Woman also set to perform.
Bicep’s CHROMA live show and label provides the duo (real names Matt Blair and Andy Ferguson) with extra scope to explore different genres and styles to their typical limits. The audiovisual show is produced in collaboration with visual artist and stage designer Zak Norman, who combines screen graphics with an ambitious light show. In a statement announcing the project at the start of the year, they said: “We’ve increasingly wanted to show a more rounded picture of what we do in the studio.
“We do a lot of more heavy techno focused music, ambient and various other styles that don’t really fit into the ‘Bicep’ sound, and which often never sees the light of day.”
